National Unemployment Rate Dropped in January

the Bureau of Labor Statistics reports today that the U.S. unemployment rate dropped from 10.0 percent to 9.7 percent. That's a good thing, but as Calculated Risk shows, we've a long way to go. This graph tells a disturbing story.
